KENYA LADIES GOLF UNION (KLGU)

KLGU’s objective is to uphold the rules of the game, to promote the interests of Ladies’ Golf and decide
all doubtful and disputed points subject to the Rules of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews,
Fife, the Ladies Golf Union of Great Britain and Ireland (LGU) and the Kenya Golf Union (KGU) as the
authority controlling golf in Kenya. The union is currently under the leadership of Mrs. Anastasia Chubi.

KENYA OPEN GOLF LIMITED (KOGL) -  http://www.kenyaopengolf.com

KOGL is a company incorporated in the Republic of Kenya and having its registered offices
at the Muthaiga Golf Club. Mr. Peter Kanyago is the current Chairman of KOGL, and serves
with an array of other eminent golfing personalities in Kenya.

KOGL is owned by Kenya Golf Union (KGU), which was set up in 1928 as the national representative
body of the golf clubs in Kenya. Other than tasking KOGL to manage the Kenya Open Championship,
KGU is also responsible for maintaining a harmonized handicapping system and ensuring that the
game is played according to the internationally accepted Rules of Golf.

GOLF TALENT FOUNDATION (GTF)
The Golf Talent Foundation which is a body charged with identifying and promoting Golf talent in the country.
The organization run by a board of Trustees headed by Mr. Edwin M. Kinyua.

JUNIOR GOLF FOUNDATION (JGF)

The Junior Golf Foundation which is tasked with the responsibility of promoting junior golf activities has
been vibrant with many junior activities being held over school holidays. The foundation is working with
Clubs and schools and ensuring that the game of golf is reachable to all. This body is run by a board of
Trustees working under the leadership of Ashwin Gidoomal. Their focus at the moment is developing future
Olympics champions.

Kenya Golf Network Limited (KGN) was set up by Kenya Golf Union (KGU) and Kenya Ladies Golf Union (KLGU).

Kenya Golf Network leverages the rich history and culture of the game of golf in Kenya, improve the sharing and
accessibility of golf information and promote Kenya a prime golf destination in the world.KGN’s mandate is to offer
value added golf information services to golfers and the general public by use of modern information technology.
This body is run under the leadership of former KGU Chairman and current East Africa Golf Federation Chairman David Nyakang’o.
